Bathroom ceiling skim
I needed a new bathroom ceiling skimming quickly. Fran came out to view the job the next morning. He gave me a very reasonable price for the job which I agreed to. As it was a small job he was able to start the work immediately and 3 hours later I had a perfect ceiling all ready for me to complete my new bathroom installation. The finished job was of very high quality and it was obvious from watching him work that he set himself very high standards. I would highly recommend him for any job, large or small.
Re-rendering house front wall
Fran of A & F Plasterers has done a really good job at a sensible price.
I contacted a number of plasterers and builders and most were either too busy, couldn't be bothered to answer or couldn't do the job for months. Although this was only a small job Fran was eager to help and certainly believes in customer satisfaction.
He managed to fit it in to suit my schedule and worked full days with early starts as needed.
Rather than just patching up he removed the old render right back to the breeze blocks and re-rendered.
He used the right base coat, mesh and finish to achieve a professional finish.
He cleaned up afterwards and left everything neat and tidy.
I certainly recommend A & F Plasterers for this type of work.
Rendering and plastering
Fran has been an absolute star, he has done an outstanding job rendering the front of our property. We had some extra plastering that needed doing inside which required Fran to come back on different occasions. Nothing has been too much trouble. We wouldn't use anyone else to do rendering or plastering work and would recommend him highly!

A very talented and reliable plasterer!
I've had Francis (A&F) plaster the whole of my Barn conversion which included approx 300 square meters of walls, and provided some real plastering challenges such as vaulted ceilings, room heights scaling 4 meters, plastering up to Brick walls and also tight spaces near beams.
In all I would have given Fran 10 stars if I could, his finish is the flattest and the most consistent I've seen. Some people would have been daunted at such a challenging job but I found Francis very calm and he just got on with the task in hand.
Above all Francis is a thoroughly decent bloke, who provided absolute reliability when I needed it the most along with great communication, which is the key for me.
I would have absolutely no doubt in recommending Francis to anyone for any plastering job.

A & F did a great job pebble dashing Clayton Gospel Hall last year. It has transformed the look of the building and has been complimented by a lot of people.

A and f plasteres pebbledashed our house 9 years ago and its still as good as new. Would definitely recommend.
Thermal insulation & render.
The difference in our gas bills is amazing. Also cured a damp problem we'd had for 7 years. Tidy & efficient & very reasonable. Would recommend to anyone.
Polymer rendering
Extremely high quality and professional finish. The final result has also been much admired by the neighbours. Very good value for money.
Rendering to the outside of property
We called A & F Plasteres for a quotation to have the outside of our bungalow rendered. Fran arrived on time, explained to us what needed to be done. We were happy with the quote which he gave to us so gave the go ahead for the job to be done. The work was carried out to a high finish and we are really happy with the result. We have already recommended to others and if the need arose we would certainly us Fran again.
